It has been a good while since I posted on here properly, just over 2 months I think.  There are a few minor changes in my life style due to things like (eventually) starting driving lessons, and actually bought a cheap car, to help learn in and to get me started.  But overall the main change in my life is the fact I’m now single.  Most people know, at least those that know me or read almost any other (older) post on here that I was going out with a girl called Natalie, who coincidentally also posts or at least posted on here with me.  The whole thing lasted just short of a year and a half, though we’ve known each other for probably over 7 years, I’m not quite sure how I managed it, but we are still friends and not all that awkward around each other so its all right over all.

I’m back again at Sixth form this year to get my A2 levels out of the way, and I’ve dropped Business to concentrate on Maths, Physics and ICT.

Well the results are back, I got a B in ICT (it appears I did quite crap in the general exams), a B in Maths (quite proud of that), a C in Physics (I flunked a paper and will probably retake it to bump this to a B) and finally I got a C in Business Studies. I’m not sure whether I’m impressed with BS or not, it was the first time I took the subject and was never really that interested in it. I’m also planning on dropping it next year, so I don’t think it’s worth taking again. Oh and for all it’s worth i got a C in General Studies, which isn’t bad as I never took the lessons.

Nat, as far as I can remember did quite well in her exams and got higher than expected for all her results, I’m sure she will post later with what she actually got, although I don’t think she was happy with the results.

Finished school, waiting for my exam results. That pretty much sums up most things. My parents went on holiday for the last week of term and are due back on tomorrow. It for the most part has been a fairly uneventful couple of weeks, Nat stayed over in the second week for a handful of days, we had fun trying to cook a few different things and it was interesting living with my gf for almost a week. It kinda opened my eyes to a little.

Other news, I stumbled upon pennradio.com which is by the same guy who stars in Penn & Teller: Bullshit, he chats on about different things, I’ll be sticking it on my ipod for a laugh at least.

Bede’s has currently blocked any reference to the word “runescape” if that word is found anywhere on the page of any site, that page is blocked completely. I’m tempted to go through my site correcting any references by abbreviating it or hiding the word in tags, but at the min I can’t really be assed.
Things are pretty much sailing calmly towards the end of the term, with the last day on Friday, and with different activities going on within the week, such as “Brazil Day” which is meant to be a day filled with activities, and a “Fun Sports Day” there aren’t many lessons left. I’ve almost completed my math coursework for A2, which we started to fill in the time after the exams until the end of the term, and has made up most of the real work I’ve done in the last few weeks.
On a different note, today instead of posting my Runescape stats, I’m going to post a few links to a graphing project a friend is running, I have mirrored the links as they are quite long normally, and these are easier to update. Well it’s been a while since I did a general update on here, so I thought I’d make some sort of post. I was initially waiting for Natalie to post something, as we try to take turns, with the exception of the random website stuff that I do now and again, but she is being all boring, and insists that there isn’t anything interesting enough to write about.

Well my exams so far are going quite well, I think I did great on the general studies, I think I did relatively well on the Business ones, the Maths core 2 and stats went quite well, and I’ve still got my IT and Physics exams to go. My Maths core 1 exam, which I had at Christmas, I got a grade C for, which isn’t too bad, but I decided to take it again, it felt like it went much worse than the first, but that shouldn’t be a problem, you keep your better grade, it is a bit of a let down though.

Other news Runescape just released a new skill and player owned housing, which is definitely the biggest update this year, and probably the year before. At the same time they had to bring 11 worlds online to keep up with the greater demand. In slightly connected news, http://rsbar.khobbits.co.uk has been updated, and I try to update it within a day of the world update. And my bot is now working for the new skill. Also I have no perfected out of channel commands, which means if I’m in the room, you can pass on commands to the bot via me (through DDE, so no lag for me :D), for special commands, this is mainly runescape based for now, but just ask me on IRC if you have any questions.

Well as it has become tradition I suppose I should end with my stats *boots up his bot*. With all the exams lately I have had little time to play rs, so that’s what I blame for my mostly non trained stats.

It sounds like Microsoft is going back on the offensive, they allways have had a problem with most Google products, with Microsoft trying to be more internet orientated latly with the release of it’s ‘live’ products, google still seems to beat them hands down. It will be interesting to see the outcome in the next few years, Google’s tools are usally much better, but Microsoft is the brand people know (and hate) and can advertise in Windows.

I have just found out my calculator isn’t allowed, so I have to buy another one, it’s going to be interesting, I almost love my current calc, it does everything, which is also why I cant use it :p
